This sculture appeared on ous main square recently. It has a gong tone inside but there seems to be no other info about it.

I think it's someone's "retirement nest egg!"
ReplyDeleteit's a symbol of democracy as the peaceful revolution in 1989 began in leipzig. the egg means something new but it (democracy) has to be protected. the gong tone that can be heared every hour (random) reminds the people of this. hope my english is not so bad.
