old courtyard

This courtyard in the city centre is part of a group of very old buildings. They have not been sanitised beyond belief and so retain an interesting atmosphere that allows one to imagine medieval times. The flower shop in the righthand corner is allowed to expand into the yard and there is a small bar just out of view. They also have a wonderful vaulted cellar that they use for special displays.
I'll photo the entrance to the yard another time.

    Having lunch or a coffee with a pastry at that table would feel like being in the Garden of Eden! Cozy photo!
