Out walking at the weekend we came across this fascinating shop selling old but very stylish lamps. I'm not sure what happens when we are forced to used extremely dangerous* "energy saving" lamps!
*I read that should a new lamp break you should ventilate the room for 15 minutes and on no account touch anything without hand protection etc.! And they only provide a weak 75 watt light and take ages to warm up so that we will just let them burn instead of switchinhing them off!
